January at last!

I finished a pair of socks, a pair of mittens, and the repair (new longer toes) on a pair of socks. Yay!

The incision is healing, back to work next week, meeting with oncologist next Friday to discuss radiation and hormone therapy. No re-section needed, TG!

Walked to Wiggins Pond--

Cancer sucks but life is good.

A New Year

Another year gone, this one, 2012,  I've looked forward to for so long... the year I can retire at 66 and thus have the time I want to think, read, make things, walk, recapture all I can be and more.

This past year has been full. I've learned, through knitting an spinning and all the connections therein, so much that it changed me in some fundamental ways.

I gained a son, William.

I have breast cancer and am working through it with the help of all my friends. Otherwise, I have health, and plan not to squander that. I have a lovely dog, Jackson, and some wonderful friends. I live in a wonderful place. I'm lucky.
